Any Macgregor 26 owners here Northwest Indiana? I just purchased a 2007M a few weekends ago from Atlanta. It pulled nicely at 55 - 60mph behind my F150. I studied the electrical and plumbing (lots of upgrades and extras) then winterized and covered her. I have not even raised the mast. I plan on taking her out early spring 2015 (after I feel comfortable raising and lowering the mast and have a thorough or best understanding that I can of all the ropes). I would like someone or two or three to go out with me on her maiden voyage, to show me the ropes. No pun intended. I meant that literally. Standard sail and a 100% jib, no roller furling. I plan on renting a a slip at Marina Shores here in Portage for 2015. I know me and the first season she will be on the water more than on her trailer. It just makes sense to me. There are a few bridges to cross under to get to the lake, but I'm 99.9% positive that with the mast lowered, it will pass under no problem. There are some very tall boats in that marina. I'll verify that of course before we head out. Of course drinks, lunch and/or dinner is on me afterwards. Thanks
