I have the Norcold Model SCQT-6407 icebox and the temp does not seem to respond to the temp adjustment. It goes all the way to around 24f even though the temp control would be set to 1. (it has settings 1 to 5) I have to monitor the temp and turn on and off to control.
I found the supporting docs and a troubleshooting table but the steps used to test the rheostat are unclear. Page 6 of the sm (service manual)
I called norcold/thetford and they said as i was not a licenced repair shop, they could not assist me at all which was bs.
I was wondering if anybody has had this issue because when cokes and other things freeze, its bad news
