Does anyone have experience with Norcold's icebox conversion kit? Any manuals available? I have one, model unknow, installed on my used Catalina 30. It seems to run on battery but not on shore power, although plugged into shore power in cabin (line runs out to the unit in the cockpit locker). There's also an on-off switch and rheostat in the icebox (settings 0-5) but I can't figure out which is the coldest setting. Any help is appreciated -- when it does run it keeps the box really cold!

Dual voltage Norcold automatically defaults to AC

when plugged into shore power, default to 12v when it's not. They both should be on breakers, though the fridge may share both AC and 12v breakers with other things on the same circuit. If it's not running on one or the other make sure the breaker is on. And I think you mean a thermostat, not a rheostat. 5 is coldest, 1 is warmest.

...on my Norcold, 0 is low and 5 is high. I may be able to fax you some info. Contact me via email thru the Owner's Directory on this site.
