I have a 1989 Catalina 27, in great condition except for a few chips/scrapes on the grey non-skid surface in the cockpit and on top of cabin. Is it possible to apply a new coat of the non-skip material and if so how big a project is it? If you touch-it-up how do you match the color? Thanks. Tim

If all else fails

I'd sure go with LaDonna's advice first but if that route doesn't work I can tell you that I've a friend with a Catalina 30 who repainted all of his non-skid. The only unfortunate thing was that he had to buy a full gallon of paint so now has a lifetime supply. It did go on beautifully though and if memory serves me correctly he used masking tape to outline the areas to be painted and then used WD-40 to clean up the tape adhesive where necessary. Please let us know how it goes once you've decided on your course of action.
