Non skid cleaner issue

Used starbrite brand and after rinsing it dried with a soapy residue. Further rinsing a few more times and brushing does not take it off. Using a starbrite brush and another brands stiffer brush. Has anyone had this with recommendations?

I used up a bottle over a period of years. I can't say that I ever had a problem rinsing.

• Didn't shake it first? Perhaps it is one where the PTFE separates.
• Very soft water? Rinsing is less effective.
• Used way too much?
