Hunter 32 1992 When I put it in reverse there is a noise/vibration. Engine runs great in forward. Could it be the prop? Anyone have any suggestions on this?
I had a shaft zinc come loose. When I put the boat in reverse, the zinc slid forward and would hit on the bottom of the boat. This sounded like the transmission was going out. When I put the boat in forward gear the zinc would slide to the prop and there was no noise or vibration.
