Laziness, plus like new boats
That is a good question. I really didn't need a bigger boat since the 23.5 worked well for me and my girlfriend for years but I wanted a new boat with some options like bimini, remote control, ez-steer, stern seats, depth sounder, ect. ect. Staying with the 240 made the decision a modest cost to buy new, plus I am likely to not have maintenance problems for another nine years or so(I tend to hire out the most minor maintenance problem)..I know most people move up to a larger boat but I decided to continue to invest in mutual funds, rather than a boat payment, hoping that someday that will be my fate. I noticed you were from Norfolk, I was stationed at Fort Eustis while most were fighting in Vietnam and have great memories of the area. I remember this stupid joke,..."and the cheerleaders at Norfolk High said" We don't smoke, we don't chew, Norf''', Norf''', Norf'''" What do you expect, I am a Hoosier..Have a great day Sailing
