No Way Out

My Hunter30 is docked at a beautiful lake along with many, many "non trailerable" boats. There has never been a way to haul boats from the marina except by a carrier that is four hours away and hence costs considerable $$$$. And once out, there are no facilities for repair - the boats are usually trailered back to the carriers location at the coast. (more $$$) I am curious if any other readers have the same situation. -Doug s/v Brenda Gail

Story of the Gunkhole sailor

Some of the most beautiful sailing lakes in the world have the least facilities. Maybe there is a connection there? Pretend you have sailed into the past and fix what you can. Every region needs a boat handyman with versatile trailer, sturdy truck, and a van full of parts!
