No Depth/No Speed Data

I have a Datamarine 5000 electronic depth/speed pacakge which is has just quit working this week. You will have a hard time sailing without a depth finder in the north of the bay. I am going to send the two main units to the manufacture for inspection and hopfully repair. Has anyone had success with sending their electronics away for repair?

Yes. Had sent my DM 5000 back once and the masthead unit back once for repair. The units came back repaired and re-calibrated, and have been working great. Tech support was very helpful.
