Took eng panel (under wheel) apart to try to figure out why temp gauge
went from normal down to zero while under power to raise sails. Went
back to normal after eng shut down and restart. All connections tight
and wire on thermostat tight. Noticed under panel bottom a switch and
a "nipple" thing next to it. Inside panel was note 10? volt fuse. Do you
push on this thing to reset fuse? Just wondering.

Yes, Clyde, the nipple thing is a circuit breaker, and you would plush it if it trips. Not an issue in your case, since all the gauges would have gone dead and stayed dead, if the CB tripped. Sounds more like you had an intermittent connection in the "ignition" switch. Mine has been doing that a lot lately, and I think its is time for a new switch for me.
