Bob, Thanks for your pictures. Your batteries are secure, easy to get at and don't block the openings. Enjoy a balanced boat. In a week we will head your way, trailering our 260 to Nassau Point LI to vacation with family and sail Peconic Bay; I grew up in Manhasset. Thanks, Nils
