My marina is pretty strick wanting everything dotted and crossed, insurance and registration wise. So how did this pass muster...

This one seen cruising around by Riverwalk Park just off the ICW on the New River in Fort Lauderdale is more my style.

Looks like they play fast and loose with the rules like one marina I used to dock at. I tried to get a berth there recently and they said there was a 2 year waiting list with 5 people on it. I said I can find you 6 boats that haven't moved in years that you can evict per the rules. She gave excuses about manpower but I bet it is because the checks clear.

Saw one similar to it in Friday Harbor, WA some years ago. Enclosed though. Smoke coming out of a chimney but no tender. Either they were ashore or they swam to shore. Ah, the simple life....

The whole thing started sliding downhill when the dock boxes were installed! Clutter, Flotsam and Jetsam!

Maybe the boat owner is a relative of the Marina owner. Maybe the boat owner provides drinks...etc to the Marina Owner. Maybe the marina owner has not been on the dock for years...
