Our alternator is connected to a Next System Regulator to manage the re-charging of our bank of four batteries. The regulator is flashing an error indicator and the batteries are not receiving a proper charge. The wiring going into and out of the regulator appears consistent with the manual. We have recently had our alternator rebuilt, and I'm assuming that is not the problem. My trouble shooting checklist would then say that the regulator has a short. Has anyone had a similar problem with their regulator, and how did you deal with it?
