newport30 mk2 on tidal grid or careening

hey everyone,
has anyone put a Newport 30 on a tidal grid or see anyone else try? was it bow or stern heavy? there are good mud flats here, is careening (breasting?) the better option? there is no travel lift here and I want to inspect the hull, prop, shaft etc. no scuba gear....

any insights would be helpful.
