Folks I spent my formative sailing years in Dana Point California on a 1977 Catalina 27, so the Hunter is a new experience for me. When forums and individuals discuss the "classic" Hunters aka the Cherubini Hunters, are we talking about the group identified as the 27_79-84? I have a Hunter 27 that is a 1982 (I am pretty sure, just bought it a few months ago). And, is the John C. Jr. that I see answering questions around these forums the designer of these boats, or related to the designer(s)? I have read some of his replies and he certainly seems to know the boats.
