Bought 1979 C27 w/ 2 partners
2 October was a big day for the 3 of us. We purchased a C27, and up here in WI had it out only twice. Price was right, but we did have to do major chainplate repair (not too expensive either) and now we feel we have an excellent, safe, reliable boat. We plan to take her out quite often, since the sailing season up here is kinda short. We three are all taking the power squadron coursed, even though two of us have extensive sailing experience. We are all retired, so out time can easily be devoted to the THREE AMIGOS. Those are our goals for 2002---sail, learn and be safe on the water.
