Hi All, It's time to replace the water heater in my 321. It has an Atwood ehm6 (6gal) currently. I am looking at replacing it with a Force 10 406011 6 gal. They have the same dimensions, however, I am concerned about the exchanger and in/out connections. I believe they are both located on the same side (which is needed). Anyone out there using the Force 10 water heaters with exchangers? Should I just bite, and spend a little more $$$ for Atwood replacement?

Replacment water heater

I used a force 10, 6 gal water heater (same number that you referenced) on my OC281. I'm pretty sure that the original was an Atwood. The force 10 fit perfectly and I did not have to rewire or replumb anything. The force 10 came with some extra piece of hardware that was not on the Atwood but I called Force 10 and that piece was not necessary for my installation. The water heater has worked fine now for 2 years. Don't know what kind of prices you are finding, mine was about $200 shipped. God Luck Bill
