New Tohatsu Sailpro!

Really excited about my new Tohatsu Sailpro (6hp with 25" XL shaft, alternator, and high thrust prop).

I plan to power my Oday 23 from previous owners home to marina in Punta Gorda on Friday 3/23. From there I will trailer it and put her back in bristol condition before summer really hits in Tampa.

Agonized over the outboard purchase decision, but XL shaft was a priority, and Tohatsu makes all the power heads in this category.

Guys at www.solutiononemaritime.com were very knowledgeable, professional, and had the best price by $167 in the Tampa Bay area.

Great choice. I have a 4hp long shaft, and if I were anywhere besides an inland lake I'd go with the XL shaft. I like the 4hp because it has an integrated tank and it's light enough for my wife to lift.

I love Indysailor's Avatar! Anyone know where I can get a burgee like that?? Or, should I just go have one made somewhere close to home?
