New to Diesel Volvo MD 2020

I bought s sailboat today with a Volvo MD 2020 diesel. First thing I want to do is change all oil, fuel filters. Can't find brand specific on YouTube. Where can I find beginner how to information on these subjects?

You can download information from the Volvo Penta site (manual, product codes etc).

The Oil Filter on my VP use British Threads. So when I buy them, I try to get 4+.
Your local VP representative can get them for you. I found very helpful was to Download the Service Manual to know the "insider" view. Break out your metric tool set.

If you have the VP part numbers, Napa Auto Parts can cross reference. I use Napa Gold oil filters on my MD17C. Fuel filter is a wix I believe. Never have to change it as its a secondary filter after the Racor...

The MD 2020 is from Perkins Parama (Volvo purchased the rights to make the engine) and is built on a Kubota block (I don't know which one). Ya might be able to do some parts cross referencing by doing some research on those..

So glad to see someone post this. Here I am thinking something is wrong because my fuel filter always looks clean when I go to change it whereas the filter in the fuel/water separator is always visibly dirty when I check it.
