Hello all,

I just wanted to share with everyone my progress on my current boat project. Due to a little ADHD, I move from one project to another quite quickly without ever finishing another one fully. So while one side of the boat is looking great, the other one still needs some attention.

I started with the port side of the boat, compounding with a Makita polisher using Buff Magic and Pro Polish. I am still working on removing the old stripe from the hull of the boat.

Once I finish removing the stripe from the hull, I will do the same two-color stripe on the hull. I have also had name ' H U N T E R ' lettered up along with the model 26.5. Both of these will appear above and below or in-line with the new stripe to match the newer Hunter sailboats.

I am very happy with the results of the Buff Magic and Pro Polish, especially considering how oxidized the boat was. There is a night and day difference between this side and the other side!

I figured I should also share that my tinted window was pretty nasty looking, with a lot of white oxidation on it. However, I used the Buff Magic & Pro Polish on the window as well, and now this window looks great!

Looks great. I'm thinking of doing the same thing to my 23.5. Seem like you're happy with the results.

If you don't mind me asking.....what was the total cost and time for the project?
