My starter/solenoid on my M25 Universal Diesel is getting tiered.I thought I would replace it BEFORE it dies.Does any one know where I can get a rebuilt one or get mine rebuilt?I live in the Portland, Oregon area, so local would be nice.ThanksBob

Try an Automotive Starter Rebuilder

I know several people who've taken their starters to a shop specializing in re-building automotive starters. I'm sure one would be easy to find in Portland. You also might want to try contacting your local Kubota or Ford tractor dealer (Ford sells Kubota). The Kubota tractor engines and Universal engines are the same. I'm not sure on the M25, but I know it's true of the 5411.
