Screw neck
Bill, I replaced mine one time, but the panel easily unscrewed. Maybe it's just a sealer that can be sliced. But, anyway, I replaced mine once and all I had to do was unscrew the notched collar that's around the key neck. The whole ignition can be removed from the back (if you have access). Replace the wires from the old to new, one at a time, and you should be golden.
