I've just recieved my Christmas presant to myself, new sails! Being the owner (4 years)of an old boat ('86 C22) I've sailed a few years with the sails that came with her that I suspect are the original sails. They are limp and out of shape, servicable is what Doyle's said when they looked at them. Anyway, not knowing much or finding very litle in the archive, my research (and the price) led me to National Sails which deals in sails for Catalina boats. I'll have to wait for spring, but in looking at them out of the box, I'm impressed. They appear to be well made and re-enforced, stiff and crackleing (I'm afraid they'll break when folded). I ordered an new main which has 4 (not 3) battens and leech lines that the original didn't have and a 135 jib that haas reinforced grommets at he hanks and leech and luff lines. Each sail came with its own labeled bag. If anyone out there has had experience with these people (good or bad) please respond.Good sailing
