Welcome everyone. I am a new owner of a 1980 Hunter 30 Cherubini. I'm excited to post my first of I'm sure many questions to this forum!
One of the first things I noticed on my H30 were the sheets and halywards seemed to be way too thick for their purposes. I could not even cleat off the jib sheet the line was so thick. My question is what are the recommended thickness (dia.) of the jib sheets, main sheet, main halyard, and traveller for the following configuration:
1980 Hunter 30 w/Rollerfurling Headsail (assume 130)
Sailing on the Chesapeake for now
all lines run to cockpit
Thanks!
Ed
