New Rudder Needed

Does anyone know of a Beneteau factory in Canada where one could get a replacement rudder for a 1985 Beneteau 42 First? I priced one from the plant in SC but, I was told it would have to be shipped from France at a cost of 7500 dollars without installation.

Try calling Foss Foam

Hi Dennis -You might be able to get Bob Walker of Foss Foam to use your old rudder (depending in it's condition) as a template to build you a new one. I do know Bob is a great guy to work with.See Related link below.Best,Trevor
