I am interested in buying a 2000 hunter 340 and would like to install a radar system when I have the mast down during transport to its new home. Does anyone have an estimate of radar and installation cost? I in the Atlanta/Lake Lanier area.

I think it was $2500 back in 2007 that the dealer charged when boat was
new up in Ct.
I did it my self back in 2000 on my Hunter 290 and did save alot of $$$$$.

Hi again RVAUGHN! Radar on Lake Lanier? Unless you're setting the boat up to go back to the coast someday, not sure why you'd install radar for the lake, it's just not needed. While the mast is down consider rewiring, replacing light bulbs, antennas, adding spreader lights, and a good rigging inspection, especially if the boat is coming from salt water. thanks for the cost estimates. Ed will keep the boat on lanier and then move to the coast for a little more challenging sailing.
