I'm considering buying a 1980 Catalina 30. It has an Atomic 4 in it. It will need a new prop. Any suggestions what kind of prop I should get and how much I should expect to pay. Can I install it myself or should I have a professional do it?

If you are on the hard it is simple to change out the prop. Remove the cotter pin from the castlenut and remove the nut then the prop. I considered switching from my std. 2 blade on my 85C30 to a 3 blade for more power? A new one from the marina would have been about $300.00 I still have the 2 blade!! Watching for one used though.
