New owner of C310 Hull#23

Hello Everyone,
I'm the proud new owner of a C310 and I have my first question. (many more in the future I'm sure). Is there a smart way to store the transom bench. I took it off yesterday, but couldn't figure out if there was a way to store it or safely place it somewhere to keep the transom open. Thanks!

hello, we don't use it ( so at home is the answer)... we love the easy open transom .
This winter i made this for easy steering.
Check for all the leaks special for this type! mastbase/weephole , side rigging , windows.

Ok that is cool, I added a seat on a pedestal on mine to have a place to sit while cruising all day.

How is the seat supported when up? Looks like it is a part of the ladder. Does it lift off when you want to deploy the ladder?

The seat was originally designed to be stored as a seat or there are cutouts on ours where I have seen it hung over the stern rail SS railing .
Sorry I do not have photos of it but someone else may.
