My name is Ken Smith and I have owned Vega "Tarka" V1032 for fifteen
years. I keep my Vega at Fawley in SOuthampton along with Steve
birch's Vega "Southern Comfort"

Hi Ken and welcome. Wow, fifteen years. I only kept my first boat, a ComPac 19 trailer sailor, for thirteen years. I just traded up to a Vega. I sail on the Chesapeake Bay. I've come within viewing distance of the Bay entrance, in my CP-19, but never ventured outside. I hope to get the chance with the Vega. Right now I'm trying to get up to speed on "real boat" stuff like diesel engines, seacocks and related plumbing, mast beam reinforcement, etc, etc, etc.
