new main sail

Hello, I am looking into purchasing a new main sail for my 2005 Catalina 34 Mk II. The boat has a furling mainsail. Does anyone know if having battens installed on the sail will cause problems with the furling. I realize that they need to be vertical battens. Thank you....Gary

I sailed with a new "partial" vertical batten main sail (from UK Halsey) for my my Hunter 386 and had no problems as long as the sail was furled in and/out of the mast tightly on a starboard tack.
