Hi All, we are thinking about getting a new jib, the one we have has a tear that sometimes hooks a line around the second spreader on the mast and also other wear and tear. Anyone done such a replacement ? What would the budget be and can I find a standard Neil Pryde replacement or should I go for a custom larger (the one on I'm guessing is standard Beneteau) I'm also contacting Benetea about this but so far I tried to become a part member there but heard nothing :/

good advice

thanks for the feedback, I'll check with a local sail shop and see what they would charge for a cleaning and fix and compare it with the new. I havent had much luck signing in to Beneteau site so I'l try calling them when I get a moment. Great input and thanks

Try Scott Rush

Try Scott Rush (local Neil Pryde Agent). He's a real good guy to work with and as far as I can tell when looking at cruising spinnakers, Neil Pryde has the best prices of the major lofts around. Show him your sail, he will give you an honest answer if you need a new one or if the one you have can be fixed or whatever else your options might be. I got a card in the mail the other day for some "winter specials" so now is probably a good time to talk to him. http://sailingsource.com/neilpryde/rush.htm Tel: 206.719.8436 Axel
