I need to sit for the NJ boat operators license, and while I have one more year to get the license,I would like to do that this winter. I know of a man who administers the test in Waretown, NJ, however I live in Bethlehem,PA, and want to know if there is someone closer to me, as in Western NJ who can give the test. I don't think I need to take the class,just sit for the exam. Thanks in advance!

Or do you just need to complete the safety exam for your operator's certificate? Either way you can probably get more information and help through this group: http://safetyfirstboating.com I know their schedule is done for this year, but maybe you can call or email and see about testing out or taking classes in early '08. They have classes all over the tri-state area.
