I just purchased a 1985 28.5 Hunter, from the years of sun, my stripes have peeled off etc. Can you replace with Hunter's original stripes. Do I need to contact a Hunter's Corp to replace these stripes? Does anyone know a web site that will help me out? Thanks, Katie

Leave message, Mike is a VERY busy man but he always seems to get back to you. If they still stock them you can buy them. And, their price is usually better than you can do anywhere else. If not, others here have just gotten them made at a local vinyl shop.

Well, I just called Mike Thomas, he is helping me out. Thanks again. Now all I have to do is find someone to help me take the old off and put the new on. Is there a trick to that? Katie

Use the "Eraser".
Scroll down in the Related Link. You will need the pad and the arbor, about $10. total. I removed six stripes, 37 foot each! Just chuck it up in a multi-speed drill. I used a 1/2" drill but a 3/8" will work. It removes the stripe and does no damage to the gelcoat. You will find the Eraser in most automotive paint stores also.
