Just received a press release today from Hunter Marine with details on a new 50cc, based on the hull and rig of the 49 but with a center cockpit configuration.

Notable details from their press release: available with a deep keel (7') as well as a tall rig. CO detectors and a built-in life raft storage space are also standard. 23” HD flat screen TV, Bose entertainment system. The design incorporates easy access to all systems components such as the auxiliary diesel, generator, steering gear, plumbing, electrical systems and thru-hull fittings.

And it's a cutter. :) Wonder what I could get on a trade?

I showed my bride the picture of the v-berth and asked if she thought it was nicer than ours on the H37C. She is still laughing hysterically.

Wasn't this the one at the Annapolis show with the jacuzzi under the bed in the stateroom?

At least they got rid of the curved stairs leading down the companionway. Wife took one look at that and said accident to happen..

Jacuzzi was under the bed, Joan was about to drop the check on them until she realized that water was going to come from...

The Jacuzzi doesn't do much for me (prefer the storage) but I like the deep keel, cutter rig, galley, and the 46 hull. I think the memory foam mattress is a nice touch. And the lines look good for center cockpit design.

I had curved companionway steps on my 450 and it was OK. Looked cool, but it was tough for the dog. :)

It's better than my aft cabin

I'm with you Jim, those quarter turn steps were a serious hazard. It was hard enough to get down them at a calm dock, I cant imagine what it would be like in serious blow with some chop. Neat idea, terrible execution.

$500k ... give or take, depending upon how many "extras" you want

RE the curved steps... 450's and 456's had (have) the curved steps and I have not heard any owners thereof complain (except Phil's dog).
