Has anyone seen the new hunter 31? Any idea on pricing? Comparison to the Catalina 31? Looking for a boat to day sail and occationally overnight. Looked at the 27, nice boat a bit pricey for a 27 and the resale on that size in this area is poor (same could be said on anything under 36 feet). Have had two hunters and was satisfied with the boats - but must say I sometimes look at a catalina and see some differences that appear to be better, but have no experience with that brand. So, will probably stick with Hunter and am looking at the 33, but think the 31 might be enough boat. Have had a 426 DS, so I won't be getting bigger boat ittis. I also see on hunters website that the furliing main has as much sail as the standard main and that is intriguing to me as the last two boats I have had lost a lot of sail to the furling system. Though this didn't seem to effect their performance a great deal as I needed to reef most of the time anyway. Any info on this model appreciated - is it even out yet or will it be introduced at a boat show? Thanks for any constructive comments, don't need any of the "Hunters are crap" or "Catalina owners stink" - have read them all in the past.
