New Hunter 25 (2006)?

What do you all know about the Hunter 25-2? I've done lots of searching, but there is little information I can find. How does it compare to a H240, specifically related to sailing characteristics with the shallow keel, and headroom in the cabin? I think I read that it should have more headroom since it has no water ballast, but unable to confirm.

I was a dealer who introduced the hunter 25-2: Go to the menu button in the upper left and then pull up boat information. Select Hunter resources and pick 25 When you pull it up, there is information on two. The original hunter 25 was built in 1974-1984

chose one of the top manual selection on top for your boat. There is no information as to height inside but with the companionway opened up, there is standing headroom.

you have a lead encased shallow draft stub keel. It is not a water ballast sailboat. I should know that as the original plans for the first water ballast sailboat came from me.

I am trying to locate a legible brochure to post here
Options included trailer, wheel steering, roller furling, marine head, mainsail and wheel covers, etc.
I desijgned your mast raise system.

Thanks, Dave. Yes, I'm pretty familiar with the general idea. I own a 240 now. You and I have spoken on the phone. I'm considering an upgrade to get an enclosed head. I want to keep a walk-through transom as well. I am wondering if the 25 is enough of an upgrade to go through the trouble. My wife and I are pretty short, so 6" of headroom would make a big difference. I understand about the companionway hatch, but I'm wondering about the rest of the cabin when it's closed up for sleeping at night, and general comfort features. The layout looks pretty slick, but I don't want to go through all the trouble if the upgrade doesn't feel significant.

Actually I may have found some info on wikipedia, if it's accurate:

25-2 headroom: 64"
240 headroom: 56"

25-2 avg phrf: 225
240 avg phrf: 255

Sounds like the biggest drawback might be sailing upwind due to the very shallow keel.
