"J boats go back many decades, but what is a 'jboat'? A brand of boat? A style? If it not a brand of boat, what makes it different from a regular boat?
Original J boats were a class of racers, like 12 meters. Modern J boats (J/22, J/24, J/105, etc.) are boats designed and mfg'd by Rodney Johnstone, but are related to the originals in name only.
