New H260 Rudder From Santa!

Happy Holidays Everyone!Santa dropped off my new H260 rudder from "Idasailor" and I thought it would be nice to post a picture.It's a full 8 inches shorter then the stock Hunter rudder, weighs 25 lbs as opposed to 26.5 lbs for the stock rudder and is much thinner (about 1/2).I was a little concerned about the length but the gentleman from Idasailor said the enhanced performance from their rudder will more than make up for the loss of eight inches.The new rudder is one solid piece of high density plastic which should sink like a stone. No more hanging off the back of the boat, kicking and hauling down the stock rudder. It's a very impressive product with a lifetime warrantee.Best Regards,

Does it make a difference if you have wheel or tiller? What was the approximate cost and from who? Will it fit a 26? what made you want to change?

The rudders on the 26 and 260 are very different.

The 260 rudder stock and post are the same in the wheel and tiller versions. alan
