Welcome, Manning. I hope you will enjoy being above the waves for a change.
At least you will be used to the rather limited space below deck. That is,

Manning, Welcome to the group and back safely to Charleston. I believe I met you the other day when I had kayaked out into Charleston Harbor to help a buddy anchor his new sailboat. I would have chatted longer but needed to finish paddling in and get to my job. I bought my Vega right out of college in northern Vermont and have sailed it pretty extensively in the past 7 years. Just got back a few months ago from a five month cruise through the Bahamas. My boat has been rewired but I'd be happy to show you any modifications I've done throughout the years. I live aboard and work on Folly Beach. I believe you said you'd spotted my boat out there. I'm sure you will find this group helpful and kind.
