What's up? I really like the option to change my mind or make a correction. Oh, and by the way, what's going on with the pop up ads. It's starting to feel like AOL around here.

no pop ups here

You probably have some adware or spyware causing the pop ups. My pop up blocker doesn't have to kill anything here.

No problems

I just posted and had the option to edit/delete. Made a couple of edits. No problem. I use the Mozilla Firefox browser which has a pop-up blocker. Its my fav after being around the net for > 10 years.

Cures for what ails you

1. Pop ups. there are none used here. If you're seeing ads pop up on this site you have a spyware infection. Get a free download of Ad-Aware at: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Great software, free. Should stop most if not all of it. 2. Edit/delete. You need to be logged in to use those (and some other) features of the forum. If you are not logged in, or have not created a login for yourself, click the Forums tab then the 'Forum Settings/Login' link.

Security Tango

We have an excellent computer wiz here in Rochester, Nick Francesco. He lists 3 things to do weekly on any PC to keep the viruses and spyware off your machine. Go to http://SecurityTango.com/ and click "Let's Dance!" button. Follow the steps, in order, and don't skip any. It works, and it's all for free, a word that sailors really like.
