I have a new GPS unit with depth sounder. First is there 12 volts i can use in the steering console and then can i run the transducer cable from the stern up thru the engine and steering cable entrance inside the boat and up to the console. Also I was thinking on mounting the transducer on the stern next to the valve for the ballast, would this work ok. Thanks in advance Bob S.
