New Deck Hardware - H33

I want to install new deck hardware on my H33 for an extension to my bimini.
The flat mount plates to receive the SS tubings will be mounted near the grab bars lateral to the companionway. My question is, how do I access the area under where they will be mounted to put plates? Before I remove the headliner, are there any special considerations or instructions? Does it go right back up or do I need to replace it, glue it, etc?

When I Have To Install...

..."add-ons" on the deck and through the headliner I drill an appropriate size hole, use a lot of silicone or buytel (SP) rubber tape, and the appropriate fasteners.

I then go to home depot and purchase a dummy light switch cover matching the headliner and put it over the hole.

Clean, fast, cheap.
