realize reasons not to have carpet.. but i would like to install ('82 cat 30)

previously did with my cat 25. using old carpet as pattern bought ydg of new carpet and found someone to cut/bind. kind of a hassle finding someone to do this and actually didn't look that great.

had read a previous post that with certain carpet really don't need to have it bound. any suggestions for carpet brand, cutting/binding? also realize can take measurements and make pattern but wondering if there is something already out there (and for that matter anywhere to order already finished to spec?)

I did my Catalina 22 using indoor/outdoor carpet from Lowes. Cheap enough to throw out when it goes bad. I just cut using old as a pattern. No binding, and didn't ravel for 2 years now...

actually i did contact catalina. they have replacement carpet pre-cut ready to go for $320. realize buying from lowes etc would be cheaper but that's quite a savings on making pattern, cutting etc?

(ps. would be nice if catalina had a website to order, other than the minimal ones they do now. unless i missed it?)

I used indoor/outdoor from Home Depot without binding and previous carpet for a template. Total cost was $50 and it's lasted two seasons so far.

I have a fitted carpet for the 30 that I just bought. Would it benefit anyone if I measured it up and came up with a template??
