New cabin cushions for 23.5

Anyone know where I can get new cabin cushions for my 23.5. Mine smell really bad, I may just be able to replace just the covers and clean the cushions. Any ideas?

Mine were stinky at first, sort of mildewy. I let them dry in the sun for a few days and brought them in my garage each night and sprayed them with febreeze. I also now keep a large bucket of damp-rid in the boat to keep the air drier.

I had new cushions made for my 23.5 out of a fabric made for outdoor furniture with extra batting so the berths are more comfortable to sleep on. It cost me about $1800 but everything is new. A local upholsterer used the old cushions as patterns, suggested fabric choices, talked me out of my cheap idea of making covers to fit over my existing cushions, and it turned out to be a really a great upgrade. The fabric does not get hot and sticky in the sun like the original material and the musty smell is gone. I keep damp rid in my boat to keep the moisture under control and stop mold and mildew from growing. I tried everything on those old cushions too. There is nothing worse than that musty old boat smell. Spring for new cushions and your boat will smell like new.

Try contacting US Yacht Cushions down in St. Petersburg, FL. They specialize in Hunter cushions and were the sole OEM supplier of upholstery products to Hunter from 1985 to 1992. I just got a set made for my H23 (11 cushions total) and they turned out fantastic. Price was very reasonable, and I had them order a couple extra yards of fabric for me so I could do some other little projects that will match the cushions.

I took the cheap way out. Mine smelled bad to I striped the covers off sprayed them down with 1:1 bleach and water, and put them in the sun a day on each side. It took care of all the smell and what mildew was on them.
