Great Job Morie...Looks nice... Good plan on figuring out the 12vdc conversion too...I try to get as much on DC as I can..Avoid the inverter penalty, unless we are motoring or motor sailing..With the 100 ampalt we can usually afford the extra draw..We use the crock pot at those times...Save time and cooking.. We just installed a 15 inch LCD in the Salon on the port side..Used a swing arm, that I made at the metal shop...Has a limited amount of swing, but only sticks out a couple of inches too, so it's a trade off.. I found a 12vdc DVD player on Ebay last year, in the Automtive section..That has been working just fine..The port side open locker is devided with some "closet maid" shelves, next project is to close that locker with some sliding door made from smoked lexan, will look like the stbd side does now... The brand is Sceptre, I'd never heard of it before but it's been working fine, great picture - time will tell. Here's a link to one for sale on Ebay right now. Or, you can do an Ebay search for: lcd tv sceptre that will find a few of them, mine is a 17 inch.

I have the tank but I still haven't done the plumbing. I'm thinking about putting in a Lectrasan to save space. I think I can fit one under the shower seat where the current holding tank is. I'm trying to find more room for more water and fuel storage.

Everything looks great - more work than I want to do right now, but maybe in a few years. I like the anchor locker changes made by Rainbow Warrior.

Morrie, put in a Lectrasan under the shower seat
and then let me know how it worked out and how to do it! I think that will be my attempted solution when my original holding tank fails. Now put down the remote for the DVD and get to work.
