I just purchased a 2001, 310 :D. This site has been very helpful in making that decision. I have a lot to learn and i am looking forward to sharing my experiences with others.

Congratulations. You have a great boat. There are at least three in the Choctawhatchee Bay one day's sail east of Pensacola on the GCIW. The Bluewater Bay Marina is a great place to RON on your trip to Daytona.

Too bad you have to leave Pensacola. I can imagine anchoring my 310 in Big Lagoon and never leaving. I sail out of St Simons, GA just north of you (by a couple hundred miles). You will have to get used to the tides.

I will be sailing my 310 from Gulfport, MS to Pensacola on April 8. Will stay at NAS Pensacola for 2 nights and depart on the morning of 11 April headed to Fairhope, AL. If you will be able to get out on your boat during that time let me know and maybe we can meet up out on the Bay. Cheers, Jim
