There are a lot of lines in a proper holding tank install. I will have used about 19 feet of new hose plus 6 feet of old hose (used only between anti-siphon loop and the thru-hull). I've attached a PDF of my website update (inprogress). I will post to my website once I get the water pump relocated and tank fastened down.

This is the kind of project that is nice to find in "Owner's Mods". Then years down the road guys can still find it. Or maybe a reference there to your website. You could put the PDF there at least. A unique use of a PDF I think.

Curious why you purchased a DIY tank. My 22 gal. Ronco was the same price and they placed all the plumbing exactly where I asked.

When I looked for tanks, I found this one on tank-depot.com to fit the bill so I ordered it. I subsequently found a similar tank in Ronco's catalogue, but the price seemed higher (when did you get your tank, oil prices have gone up and increased the cost of plastic in general); no matter since it was already done with Trionic.

The PDF document is a print to PDF I am providing as a preview of progress to someone on the site who asked to see it. The webpage is still under construction. I will post to the modifications section after I relocated the water pump, water-lines, pump electrical circuit, and hook the tank up in its final resting place; job done.

Is there a document on the site for publishing DIY modifications in the Hunter Owner Modification section. I submitted an article request but I think I hay have done it wrong because I have not heard back. I posted the interim stage of the holding tank project to my website and referenced the site in my article. Here is the new link: http://www.richgard.com/holding_tank.htm

That's a really nice installation Rich. It's a good feeling getting that bag out of there. My H37C was the same way when I bought her. I only checked the PDF, need to view your website.

Not sure what kind of problem you might have had with posting to "Owner's Mods"( http://hunter.sailboatowners.com/index.php?option=com_kb&Itemid=267&cat_id=28&page=model&mn=33_77-83 ). After you post it goes through an approval cycle before it appears. Maybe it got lost.
Thanks Ed. Yes its a big relief. Now for the carpet in the salon, cabinets and electrical work. I will also be replacing the throttle and shifter cables (some tricks learned from my marina owner/operator).

I have exchanged some PMs with Phil and have worked out the protocol for article submission and revision. The first update is in the mods sections with an update to follow (Hunter 33 C Holding Tank Modification) after the article reviewers are done.
