New 146 owner with question about reefing

Hi, I recently acquired a 2005 146 and am looking forward to my first sail on it this weekend. I've been lurking on this forum for a few days and just joined. I have a question about rigging it for reefing. The main has one set of reef points, but there's no reefing lines, no apparent place outside or inside the boom to run one, no tack reefing hook, and no topping lift. I'm trying to figure out how to best set this up for reefing.

I've seen one suggestion to re-route the outhaul through the clew reef cringle, through the block on the aft end of the boom, then to the jam cleat on the port side of the boom. Then use a reefing line for the tack cringle. While that might work, it's not something I would want to try while underway. I'd prefer a single line reefing system, or perhaps a tack hook and a dedicated reefing line for the clew. I want to be able to reef singlehanded while underway.

Is this complicated by not having a topping lift? Any and all thoughts would be most appreciated.

Thanks!
