Well, the new boat is in the water! The first problem was that we had to use a crane to pick her up and place her in the water, when the mast was placed on the boat, one of the spreaders was pinched (too many people trying to direct the crane operator).Long and short of it was that a new spreader was shipped in the next day and the spreader was replaced. Great recovery by my dealer and Hunter for something that wasn't thier fault!I have some pictures that I will be posting later that shows the boat going in, the stereo installation, and the rigging of the mast. I will be getting some pictures and posting them of how to measure your boat for Bottom Sider cushions. As to the overall quality of the boat, I am very impressed, I was into every compartment and access panel on the boat and saw absolutly nothing but quality construction. Access for stereo installation (pulling and running wires) was exceptional, the conduit from the stern to the electrical pannel are a god send. More on this when the pictures are posted.Another great idea/improvement is the light that is directly over the stuffing box/back of engine access, great light in the right place. The improvments and enhancements to this boat as compared to my old 91 H28 are very noticable and appreciated. As to commishioning, my punch list is finished and I am going down to the boat to sign off on the warrenty stuff. Most of the items were very minor, things like a seat bumper needed adjustment and things like that.I would suggest to anyone who gets a new boat to vaccum the bilges before the boat goes in the water. I know that Hunter does clean the boats up, but the stuff they are unable to get to has a tendency to show up when the boat is moved around. How does she sail, great, I know how to throw a reef in the main (blowing 20 to 30 on sea trials) and she is quick and responsive.I will post the pictures as time allows.Regards.Bruce.Neon Moon
