Hi Guys,

We are considering a 1987 Irwin 38 and would cherish your feedback. What are your likes and dislikes about this vessel? The boat we are considering is in great shape (only one owner), but need to know her characteristics.

I have a 34 citation but would jump all over a 38 if I could find the right deal. I love the layout. It has all the features of larger boats. good luck with it if you choose to go that direction.

There is more info at 'IrwinYachts.com' Scroll to bottom of page and then access center cockpit models. Lots of room and a nice layout. My 37 is so easy I can sail it by myself. The center cockpit makes visibility and control access very nice. Is it a Mark 1 or a 2? I'm located just south of Clearwater. I also do all the maintanance and mods on mine. No real dislikes since I've corrected all the neglect by the last owner(RIP). Good luck and hopefully welcome to the club.
